Taupo 2025

Taupo hosts some of the most amazing and restorative thermal springs in the world – We loved soaking up the healing energy of the springs before having a therapeutic massage at the wellness centre.
Experiencing the stillness of early mornings, and enjoying  mindful-movement exercises along Lake Taupo was one of the group's favourite activities - after breakfast we found a quiet spot to enjoy some nature based meditations.

It's hard not to tune into nature when this is the view from our accommodation.  Sun soaking, river floating, walking bare foot on the grass....returning to nature calms and soothes the soul.

A beautiful way to begin the New Year — embracing self-care, self-kindness, and a return to nature. We all experienced the deep connection and renewed vitality that comes from pausing and returning to life’s simpler, quieter rhythms.

I enjoyed the balance between meditations and the mindful movement activities.  It was useful to take advantage of some alone time in nature to reflect on what I have learnt, and where I want to go.  Thank you Dr Heaney for your dedication and attention to detail.
